William Garcia

William is a multi-Emmy award-winning producer, director and DOP, based in Los Angeles, CA. With a passion for television and film, he has been involved in filming and producing television and feature films for over 30 years. Starting in news, sports, and documentaries, he filmed some of the most newsworthy political, sporting, and historical events of the late 20th Century, for which he won over a dozen awards and nominations.

After 15 years in live television, news, and sports programming, William transitioned to producer/director and General Manager for Moving Pictures in South Florida, a leading provider of rental and production services. He quickly became a popular, award-winning producer and director of music videos, reality TV, EPKs, and commercials.

William produced and filmed some of the biggest names in music, including musical legends Paul McCartney, Lenny Kravitz, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Michael Jackson, Juanes, Shakira, Aerosmith, and Christina Aguilera – to name a few artists.

 

Since 2005, William's feature films and television credits have included many award-winning films in English and Spanish. In 2018, he completed the feature film Obsession, starring Brad Dourif and Mekhi Phifer, released by Goldwyn Mayer Films, and the web series H8ters for studio Astronauts Wanted/Sony Entertainment. In 2020, he released the #1 hit film Followed in the worldwide market. In 2022, William completed the award-winning  Samland.

His next feature film project, Rally Caps, directed by Lee Cipolla, is scheduled for release in 2023. In television and digital media, William has worked as a producer/DOP for the following broadcasters: MTV, TLC India, AWE, VH-1, Animal Planet, HBO, and many others. William is also a member of the Producers Guild of America.
